The Swedish Film Institute's development money for features, covering synopsis, treatment, drafts, a dramaturg and research. Its distinguishing rule is the SEK 200,000 line: below it a screenwriter can apply with no producer, above it a producer must lead. Applications are read all year, with a six week turnaround.

Applications are taken at any time; decisions follow in the fund's own rhythm. Processing takes six weeks. Intake paused Oct 16 to Nov 23, 2026 for a consultant change.
