Irish Feature Film Development Loans
Run by Screen Ireland / Fís Éireann
The producer's route to developing an Irish feature, from a treatment or script sample through further drafts, with the same deadlines as the writer-only scheme. The loan is only repaid if the film shoots, and even then the producer gets it back to spend on the next project. A follow-on scheme funds later drafts.

When to apply
The fund opens once a year. The next cycle's dates are not yet published; we add them when they are. Four rounds a year closing at 1pm: in 2026 on January 26, March 30, May 25 and October 30. The 2027 dates are not yet published.
