Run by screen.brussels, the Brussels-Capital Region's audiovisual fund

Brussels backs films and series that spend money in the city, up to EUR 500,000 repaid from receipts. Not a writing fund, but a producer can count script and screenwriter costs even when they predate the application, which no other expense may. Ten projects shared about EUR 1.1 million in the autumn 2026 session.

Rules
The applicant is a commercial production company whose Belgian offices have been running for a year or longer, legally separate from any broadcaster, holding delegate, co- or associate producer status. Half of the financing has to be confirmed already (60 percent for short-format and special formats), and the project has to spend EUR 250,000 or more in the Brussels region for a feature or series, EUR 75,000 for a documentary, while meeting four of ten cultural criteria, a Belgian setting or an original script in French or Dutch among them.
