Krakow's city fund co-produces rather than grants: the festival office takes a stake and a share of rights in return for up to half the production cost. The 2026 round ran three weeks in May and drew PLN 4.1 million in requests. A separate Malopolska small-forms fund covers films under 45 minutes.

Warsaw and its region put PLN 3.2 million a year into films shot or set there, entering as a co-producer rather than a grant-giver.

Austria's national script grant for cinema features and documentary concepts, paid directly to the writer and exempt from income tax.
