Rules

A production company with documented experience applies as delegate producer; it must keep a place of business in a Nordic country, though it may be registered elsewhere in the EU, the EEA or Switzerland. The project needs confirmed national base funding, significant money from one of the fund's partner institutions or broadcasters, 70 percent of its finance in place and distribution in at least two Nordic countries.

When to apply

Applications are taken at any time; decisions follow in the fund's own rhythm. Apply at any time: fiction before principal photography, documentaries at least twelve weeks before picture lock, distribution six weeks before premiere. Up to six weeks to a decision; a refusal is final.
