Two schemes for Korean production companies developing their next feature: a planning grant of KRW 20 million per script in two rounds a year, and a next-project fund that pays KRW 8 to 40 million according to how a company's last release performed. The second runs on a first come, first served basis until the money is gone.

The Korean Film Council pays individual screenwriters KRW 10 million to write a first draft or an adaptation draft of a feature, with about 85 scripts funded a year in two rounds.
