日本映画製作支援事業 (Japanese film production support)

Run by Japan Arts Council (独立行政法人日本芸術文化振興会), with the Agency for Cultural Affairs' arts promotion subsidy

Japan's state production subsidy for feature-length films, paid at fixed amounts that rise with the budget to JPY 60 million, with a smaller tier for young and emerging filmmakers. Only incorporated bodies may apply, in two rounds a year, and the film must reach cinemas within a year of completion.
