Israel's largest film fund puts up to ILS 3.5 million into a feature as a recoupable investment, with a lower ILS 1.5 million track for first and second films. The script goes to readers without names, the fund may cover up to 80 percent of a budget, and a film already funded by another ministry-backed fund is out.

Israeli citizens over 18 who are not students, with a feature of at least 60 minutes that qualifies as an Israeli film under the Cinema Law and is meant for a first release in cinemas. The producer applies with a package of producer, director and screenwriter, and may not also be the sole director.
