Production money for fiction features in three tiers, from a culturally driven first film with a budget under EUR 1.8 million to a market-oriented picture above EUR 2.7 million. The producer commits to a Catalan release in at least three to twenty cinemas, a Catalan version, and three trainees on set.

Independent production companies on the Catalan or ICAA register, or EU and EEA companies with an operating base in Spain, handling the executive production themselves. Between 20 and 40 percent of the budget must be in place when applying, depending on the modality.

When to apply

The fund opens once a year. The next cycle's dates are not yet published; we add them when they are. The 2026 window ran April 16 to May 7, 2026. The ICEC calendar also lists separate 2026 lines for shorts, documentaries, animation and fiction series.
