Fond for lyd og bilde, Film (Fund for Sound and Image, film scheme)

A rights holders' fund, financed as compensation for private copying, that pays for short films, documentaries, music videos, art film and text work tied to film projects. Individuals can apply directly, which makes it one of the few Norwegian routes open to a writer with no company. Decisions are published with names and sums.

Authors, performers and producers, or someone acting for them, as individuals or companies, who live and mainly work in the EEA. Amateur work is excluded, as are applicants with more than NOK 1 million a year in public operating support. The project may not be finished before the deadline.
