Only production companies may apply for shorts and documentaries; filmmakers without a company are pointed to the Talang AC/BD program. Projects must shoot partly in Norrbotten or have creators who live or work there; a shoot elsewhere can get a smaller investment if it buys regional services worth at least the stake. Filming must not have started.

When to apply

Applications are taken at any time; decisions follow in the fund's own rhythm. Features and TV drama are handled continuously; short fiction and documentary applications are taken on set dates, which the policy page does not list. Decisions within eight weeks.
