Run by Film Fund Luxembourg (Fonds national de soutien à la production audiovisuelle), with the Centre national de l'audiovisuel

Luxembourg's grant for a writer working alone: up to EUR 10,000 and two workshops to get a first full draft of a feature or series, without a company attached and with nothing to repay. Decisions since 2018 are posted on the page. The aim stated by the fund is a script good enough to take to a local producer.

Rules
Any individual with a tie to Luxembourg culture, except someone working as a producer inside a production company. One project per call: a feature of at least 60 minutes or a series of at least three episodes of 20 to 50 minutes. A project turned down for the fund's selective writing aid cannot come back here. You commit to two screenwriting workshops and a full script by a set date.

The fund works in fixed rounds. The next dates are not yet published; we add them when they are. Two calls a year, with decisions published in February and July; the 2026 deadlines are in a PDF on the page.

What it gives besides money

Two screenwriting workshops run with the Centre national de l'audiovisuel, aimed at a draft ready to show a Luxembourg producer.
