The province's own production grant, created in 2020 and now one round a year: up to CAD 200,000 for a BC-owned feature or documentary, with priority for emerging creators and systemically excluded groups. An individual resident may apply without a company. For budgets of CAD 500,000 or less the grant may cover three quarters of the costs.
