Regional fund Spain, Madrid
Run by Comunidad de Madrid, Consejería de Cultura, Turismo y Deporte
Madrid's two production lines share a logic: the region backs films made by companies rooted there, and for shorts an individual with Madrid tax residence can apply alone. The shorts awards of 2026 were published in October with the preselected projects listed, so the track record is public.

ICAA, Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales (Spanish Ministry of Culture)
For the films the general aid overlooks: first features, documentaries, experimental and culturally driven projects, judged on the script and the team rather than box office history.
