Chile's culture ministry runs a screenplay line inside its audiovisual fund, paying up to CLP 5 million to write a first draft of a feature or pilot and up to CLP 8 million to take a finished script through script doctoring and market positioning. It opens once a year, around August, for the following year's fund.
