AVEK tuki yrityksille (company support for development and production)

Run by AVEK, Audiovisuaalisen kulttuurin edistämiskeskus (Promotion Centre for Audiovisual Culture), part of Kopiosto

For production companies making documentaries, shorts, short animation and media art, with the emphasis on early content development but room to fund later stages or a whole small production. The cap is EUR 15,000 a project and the credits must carry AVEK's name, approved before picture lock.

Rules
Finnish registered audiovisual production companies that keep statutory accounts, with a tax clearance certificate and a rights transfer agreement to the company. Minority co-productions qualify with at least a letter of intent. Works that would strip authors of collectively managed rights are not funded.
